Fantasy rundown: Week 5

Will Robinson recounts the spoils of his Week 5 fantasy victories for RideWithSilver.
Excuse me, let me have this.
…
There we go. That was me enjoying my first awesome week of predictions. Let’s recap so I can further bask in the glory that was Week 5 fantasy guessing.
Eli – Despite throwing two interceptions in a terrible loss to Seattle, a poor quarterbacking performance was a still great fantasy day for Manning. His 24.3 fantasy point outing was the fifth-best fantasy quarterbacking performance of the week.
Whatchu talking ‘bout Willis? – Though he didn’t score a touchdown, Willis McGahee had 120+ yards and a two-point conversion. For no score recorded, 12th-best fantasy running back for Week 5 is a sweet deal.
A.J. Green – The rookie speedster had 90 yards and a touchdown for a solid 15 points and a top-15-fantasy wideout play for last week.
Brandon Pettigrew – The touchdown finally came for Pettigrew, which turned his 3.9-point evening into nearly 10 points. Good points for a waiver wire tight end a few weeks ago.
Josh Freeman/LeGarrette Blount – The Bucs were steamrolled by the 49ers, which equated to 6.5 points for Blount and an atrocious 5.68 points for Freeman. Both of these guys were colossally awful picks. I hope you stayed away.
Matt Forte – Forte did not score, but he had 151 yards. This was my only miss of the week. I fully believe in Matt Forte now (watch as he gets hurt or goes into a major slump after I write this).
Stevie J – Johnson was a non-factor against Philly, only getting 29 receiving yards.
Gronkowski – As was Rob Gronkowski, who had 3.1 points. All in all, once more, a very good week for yours truly. Hopefully I can make it two weeks in a row for Week 6.
